Review: Arbonne Primer

ARBONNE MAKEUP PRIMER

I cannot say enough good things about this Makeup Primer!! Let me just tell you I have gone my whole 27 years without using makeup primer. I never saw the point.  Why would I spend extra money on something that doesn't make any difference?  No one can see this and it can't help that much anyways, right?  WRONG!! 

When you first use this primer, it feels like your rubbing silk all over your face. It gets into the wrinkles, fine lines and pores in your face and fills them in.  Also throughout the day when you touch your face, you feel nothing but smooth.... which is what everyone wants right!!

The big question here is how does my foundation look on top of this Primer? 

The answer is simple... GREAT!!  

I'm an RN and work 12 hours shifts. I used to wear Bare Minerals and I would notice that my makeup lasted until about 2pm. Which leaves me 5 hours with all of my makeup rubbed off. Now I notice that my makeup lasts until 5pm or 6pm. Which is basically my entire shift!! Which I love. My co-workers have told me multiple times that I do not look as tired when leaving work anymore. 

Which I love!! No one likes to be told that they look TIRED!! 

The only downside of this product that I have found is sadly the price. The Primer rings in at $38. I myself will gladly pay the price to have clear skin.  It all depends on what you find important.

To me... clear, healthy skin is important to me.

Welcome to the Blog World!

Hello Blog World!  My name is Allie, and I am brand new to blogging. I have always been interested in doing this but have never had anything to actually blog about.  But recently I have come across a new product that is worth blogging about! 
I have been recently been introduced to the product Arbonne by my best friend Amanda. She invited me to a party, which included getting facials and soaking your feet! I had so much fun at this party. She had a couple of girls over, sat out some wine and snacks and we just got to relax.
This may not seem like a big thing but to me, I run a very busy schedule. I am an RN in the CCU and used to work in the Emergency Room. Let me just tell you its a lot of running in both places for 12 hours a day so a nice relaxing foot soak was a nice escape.
While I was at the spa party, I was told about these amazing products that are all natural, vegan, gluten-free and contains no mineral oil (if you don't know mineral oil is a filler that are put in makeup products. Mineral oil DOES NOT absorb into your skin at all!! I didn't know that) As an RN I am very familiar with how minerals are absorbed into your skin. 26 seconds is all it takes!!! That's crazy!!
I have always had a problem with acne, cystic cysts in particular. I have tried multiple difficult beauty lines with only partial success. Pro-active, estee lauder, clinique with these products clearing up my skin but never 100%. I had given up and just accepted that I was gonna have acne for a while.  But let me tell you Arbonnes RE9 Advanced facial line has cleared my skin and I will never go back!!
One of the consultants at the party saw potential in me and asked me if I was interested in joining the business! I was very skeptical at first, but after looking at the business plan and asking myself if I wanted to be where I am right now in 5 years would I be happy, I choose to take control of my life and jump in with both feet and join Arbonne!
